The beautiful photos seen above are of African women with Steatopygia. Which is a genetic attribute of the Khoisan women from Southern Afrika. Steatopygia means there is extreme fat accumulation on the buttocks, it can also be present in the hips and thighs. The most popular name mentioned in relation to Steatopygia is “Sarah Baartman” aka “Saartjie Baartman”. Sarah was also known as the Hottentot Venus, a Afrikan slave who was considered a freak of nature because of the way she was built.
Some thought and probably still think these characteristics are abnormal but it is a natural trait in women from certain regions of Afrika. Which means that it is absolutely normal for some Black Women aka Women of Afrikan Descent to have the same characteristics today. It’s in the DNA, our cells carry the history of ancestors. It can be looked at as gift from the creator, one must learn to accept and embrace it. Knowing what is original to your kind and culture is empowering. Do not be sidetracked by mainstream information that tries very hard to shape your perception of how your body shape and size should look. You are unique, natural and descendants of the Original Woman.
